Playboy Goes Back was an editorial feature on Playboy.com that celebrated the 25th anniversary of Back To The Future. I created the feature and produced the photo and video shoot, supervising a crew of 25 including photographers, videographers, models, crew, and hair/makeup artists.
I found and booked a classic DeLorean re-done as seen in Back To The Future and also found classic props from Back to the Future. I had several costumes and props custom made for the shoot.
I also managed post-production supervising web designers, video editors, image technicians, and an outside illustration firm. The feature was an instant hit with nearly 20 million media impressions and features on tons of blogs and social sharing sites. The feature also drove significant traffic to Playboy’s subscription service.
Additionally, I worked with the Playboy Foundation to auction props, wardrobe pieces, and other autographed memorabilia from the shoot with proceeds from the auction benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
